In today's video we're filling soccer balls (footballs) with three different gasses- sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), helium, and carbon dioxide. Will the different gasses affect how the balls react?

I feel like the difference would be in the force applied to the balls. Like the stronger the force the more distance that the high density sulfur hexaflouride would cover over the helium but with a weak force the lack of density of the helium helps the ball overcome gravity easier.

    2. James Siber

Wait if football is soccer then is soccer football

    3. K0PSTL

      Now try kickballs

    4. John Philip Cervantes

      I love you guys

    5. Jo Afrikaans

Sf6 gas is terrible for the environment and really expensive

    6. JMandy

If only this could he tested on some sort of land without anything in the way, maybe somewhere meant for things like this. A field type area.

    7. Gamerladyangel

I thought the ball would fly-

    8. NOW I KNOW

I can't figure out how to buy the WHOLE shop while it is at 25% off. Can someone help me..... I literally want to but the whole shop.

      Try with a basketball

      kick with your lases.

    13. Squidward in a car

      Simple answer: it floats away.

    14. SXGaming5

Plot twist: the ball goes on forever

    15. G[re]at [post]

      Damm u curved it

    16. omer arif

A little late but they really needed to measure distance in the air and not roll distances to determine how much it matters. Heavier balls could potentially absorb more energy and go further but with equal kicks the helium should theoretically go furthest.. cool idea. Something like a American football and throwing distance might be more accurate.. or just build a big slingshot and shoot these balls at 45 and measure aerial distance and maybe even vertical shots straight up.

    20. Logan RentRoy

      you gotta use the lasses

    21. Rhodesia Voice

warning!!!! this video is to much american

    22. Nemke 3

      /effect @ball slow falling 100 1600

    23. Louis Turner

      Cali lip still looks fukd

    24. ELI AMIGO

You should experiment withAlpha hexafluoride and helium

      06:17

    26. Keith Sergent

6 minutes in and I had to go to the comments. Certain to see how bad this experiment was.

    27. karthikeyan mg

Beautiful Blue Sky!!! Hovering mountains and cold weather.... What's else you need in life

    28. Alex Moirano

These the videos brady watches before the super bowl

    29. Henkar Pekins

What will hapen if you fill balloon with water and helium

    30. Anthony Riseley

This experimental setup is terrible. Nothing was gained from this

    31. Edwin Alfaro

In track & field events like shot put and discus, it's measured from where it lands, not where it rolls after landing

    32. khalid goldston

You should use a robotic kicker to get an even test. There are many factors that will change the distance a ball travels.

    33. Easy Maths and Science

      No luck

    34. Tommy Obermiller

      the grass ruins the test

    35. Carly Baker

Tom Brady probably watched this vid

    36. Ryan D

It's a soccer ball for me (And everybody in canada maybe)

    37. Vegeta Referee

This is one of your worst experiments, so far that I've seen. Very inaccurate. Ps. Adam & Jamie did a much better job on this topic! Peace ✌🏻

    38. *zev* *bronshteyn*

is it just me or is nate like terrible at kicking?

    39. Thatoneguy overthere

On a field with an actual soccer player would be cool.

    40. Aryaveer Singh Dabas

pls make a video where you fill 50% helium and 50% nitrogen in a bicycle tyre

    41. Javier Bonilla

Wtf? What did they test? There was no consistency in anything! Why would they test this in tall grass? Should have had someone with soccer experience to kick the balls or something that shoots them out or both

    42. Krish A

What will happen if u fill a ball with liquid nitrogen?

    43. q6blaze

How about not wearing skinny jeans to do sports. What a jackass

    44. joe melton

Do a drop test on pavement. Compare the bounce.

    45. Robert james

Shouldn't they have weighed each ball also ? Gas density would affect the weight and the weight would cause a difference in the kick.

    46. Adriano RM

      My eyes hurts....

    47. Dustin Perkins

should have done a bounce test

    48. Kaithai Sayarath

The helium that you buy at Walmart sucks.

    49. Estrada603

Well light can travel faster but heavier can go further has more energy so they can equate to the same distances with different velocity and energy

    50. Estrada603

Should of just hit them with a baseball bat probably see more significant changez

    51. Joe Cool

My guess, the helium goes farther airborne because it is lighter. The SF6 goes further because the extra mass gives it more momentum to roll further. And air goes shortest because it is between the two extremes for carry distance and roll distance

    52. manny2fs

      Nice kicking

    53. Colin O'Brien

Obviously, seeing your method of testing and location used....you've never seen MythBusters🤐

    54. Harley Keiner

      not even one drop test...

    55. Daniel Smith

This is the sorriest excuse for a science experiment.. you couldn't even spend the minimum and buy AT LEAST a hose clamp and the right size tubing for the helium.. even mid tier, thats a 1/4 standard thread under the nipple attachment.. even the sulfur hexafluoride bottle.. a cheap regulator is 50 bucks.. low effort, max profits, no care, plug merch. Cool.

    56. Havier Plair

I am using a gummy bear to type it’s messing up my phone screen cuz it’s wet

    57. Renata Bielinska

His belt is worth like £700

    58. Cole Foster

      2:08 is that you spongebob

    59. johnny quest

Didnt mythbusters do this with less variables?

    60. Elijah M. Stephenson

Yo this dude is shlanging in the intro stg, mad respect

    61. Akm BlockBoy

Am I the only one who noticed but MY MANS IS DRIPPIN WITH THE HERMÈS BELT 🔥🔥🔥

    62. SLEEPDOG01

Should have been on a football field

    63. SLEEPDOG01

      Use a scale

    64. GiovanniS

Why not test this on a soccer field at least?

    65. Cody Overland

Couldn’t they have just weighed the balls and be more accurate then them kicking it poorly. Doesn’t seem very accurate

    66. Joshua Davis

Why did I just watch this?

    67. Brayden Strock

3:30 what is Nate trying to do with the soccer balls

    68. devin patterson

Should have used a ball launcher.

    69. Richard Bostick

Maybe the gas has more of a rebound then regular air. Kinda like how they use gas in shocks

    70. M. Kassam

this is not right just rent a pitch and get a football player or two from your local team and someone at the goal just to spice things out

    71. what

      what a bunch of dorks

    72. Bigg Gee

It becomes lighter so does not hold as much kinetic energy as a ball with air and will not go as far if kicked at the same power.

    73. Aleksfoxtrot

Tom Brady be like, "need to know more intensifies. "

    74. Justin Jones

You would need a ball cannon. Then launch them all exactly the same and watch the flight path of the ball

    75. Deepak Chauhan

None of these ppl has played soccer ever...they need to use shin and side of the Toe.

    76. fordzy

That couldn't have been his hardest kick

    77. lala popo

Am i the only one who worry about snake appears in grass?

    78. Edu Broekman

Why would you play soccer on that location? 😂😭

    79. Sarah Blaum

Ya 25% off O wait it was posted in 20

    80. Andrew Munoz

Does he know that all of the times he is kicking the weight changes like wtf
